Automatic trunk opening

Can gas struts be added to the trunk opening on its own when trunk release or remote is engaged. Any idea what this would cost.

Can gas struts be added to the trunk opening on its own when trunk release or remote is engaged. Any idea what this would cost.

Gas struts won't help you achieve that goal. A spring mechanism will.
However, I'm not sure how we could beef up the stock springs.

A motorized trunk option offered in KDM would've been sweet.
