Aux&usb 96120-B1000 upgrade

Was looking into upgrading the usb to 3.0 so it can actually charge when im using android auto

I looking at breakouts board and just ditch the aux, to get usb 3.0

Has any one done this?

The head unit won't communicate if you're trying to send just data with a separate power source on the USB. The USB port already supplies 1A which is double spec.

I'd say order an AAWireless and wait for delivery. That way you can charge with anything you want.

Oh shit didnt know about that dongle thing, alot simpler then freaking up a usb port
