  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just a week after I brought my ‘23 G70 home from the dealer in November, one of my neighbors was doing some renovations… something that involved grinding or cutting stone or tile and put a cloud of dust into the air for several hours. Well that crap settled on our cars and left a gritty gummy residue that would not wash off! I’d been planning on getting a ceramic coat, but was still doing the research.

Finally got a chance today to get that gunk cleaned off ($500!) and get the ceramic coat done. Thought I’d use the remote camera monitor to check on her…

Did the neighbor give you $500 to cover it, or does he provide beer most of the time???

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The house is unoccupied right now. We think it's being flipped (the house has been through several owners in the past five years) because they've completely gutted and redone the place: new roof, carpet, tile, granite countertops, paint, toilets, appliances, even completely new privacy fences. I'm trying to figure out now who owns it so I can turn them in to the insurance company. I'll get $250 after deductible.

She's back in my hands and she looks spectacular! Here's a photo the tech took:

She's home. Looks fantastic and I'm so happy to get all that gunk off my car. Roy of R&R Detailers in Pearland, TX did excellent work!

Looks awesome! The paint POPS now.

Are you doing window tint? Any other mods?

Thanks, Bob. I'll be doing a window tint when I can spare the bucks, maybe March. I'm probably not going to mod it for performance at all; it's already dangerously hot as is!

If you do a tint, I highly recommend ceramic. It keeps down the heat.

I've played around with performance mods in my head but decided to just stick with my BMS dual-cone intake (which I installed yesterday). The only other mods are a JLT oil separator and a KDM Warehouse carbon fiber style engine cover that is being delivered today. I'll post a photo of the updated engine bay early afternoon after I install it. I feel the same as you that the factory power is more than enough. Plus, I don't want to do a piggy back tune (been there, done that) and an ECU tune will void my great warrantee.

Thanks! :)
