  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Here's my 2nd Gen Empire State Gray sedan, lowered 1.2"-1.4" with ARK Performance springs, sitting on 20" TSW Bathurst gloss gunmetal wheels:

Thank you to dareckibmw for photoshopping what these wheels would look like on my car. That visualization really helped me in making the decision and pulling the trigger.

Sorry for the busy background and terrible mid day lighting. I wasn't planning on taking pictures of her when I initially parked in front of my garage.

Note: these are the actual wheels on the car, not photoshopped.

Perfect! I love the drop! IF I was going to get G2 today, this would be my choice, I mean the ESG color. As a matter of fact, I took one one those for a test drive few months ago, except it was 5.0 ;) ..... hopefully, next year I'll get '16 5.0 with 5 years/60,000 miles covers all electronic gizmos :D

The wheels match the car color, good job..

Looks clean, nice choice of wheels. This particular wheel has a ton of space between the spokes that's just begging for some monster rotors.

Thanks guys! There's still a two finger gap between the tires and the fender so in my head I'm self conscious that it look like I'm going off-roading. However in pictures and when I observe other people driving it, it looks flush and the drop is perfect.

I agree that the spaces in the spokes are begging for monster rotors. Maybe if I had the 5.0. With the 3.8 I feel like it would be a waste of money.

Then again, when has modding a car ever not been a waste of money lol.

Brakes are never a waste of money, no matter how much or how little power you have.

I agree! Maybe after the fog lights...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Yes.... as I said.. looking good. Its nice to see more modified Gen2's!

Wow! That looks sick! How' s the ride, is it very rough?

Thanks! Surprisingly, the ride did not change that much. Just drove it to and from Vegas from So Cal and its character as a luxury cruiser hasn't changed a bit. Still a very plush ride, not bouncy, and definitely not stiff. I was actually surprised the ride stayed as comfortable as it did as I'm used to sacrificing comfort when modifying suspension and reducing tire sidewall. If it means anything, the wife approves of the ride.

Looks great man, those wheels were made for that car..

Thanks guys!

....and 5 month later, since I already have the exact car, I'll take a closer look at those springs and wheels.....and probably tires too! :D

I really like the drop, it's perfect.

Dereck,it's been a while since I logged on. Much to my surprise, you now have a Gen2 sedan. I recall you having a gorgeous R Spec in Titanium. What happened? BTW, the new one is wild with those wheels. Did I hear correctly, a 3.8 car?

Here is my new thread explaining what happened Another Traitor! :D
