  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I thought my back-up display on the dash was hurting a bit, but never investigated the issue.

I don't normally wash my cars, but yesterday I thought to do it as it was nice outside and I had some time. What the heck! There was a protective plastic film covering the back-up camera above the license plate. Removed it and the image is now brighter and clearer.

Can I ask how long you had the car? Glad its all cleared up now!

...yep, it's kinda blue in color.

Pop open ur sunroof and check the wind deflector too. Since PDI (pre delivery inspection) didn't remove the camera film, I doubt they remove the piece on the roof either.

6 months. This Genesis sedan has been back to the dealer 3 times. What does this portend for folks who never personally wash their cars?

The Hyundai dealerships are still catching up with the Genesis, I suppose. I have mixed emotions about my dealership. I don't need coffee and cookies and a lavish waiting room. I prefer competence. Thus far, my Hyundai dealership is just OK, and noticeably below my experiences with my former luxury car dealership ... no big deal ... I think they are getting their act together. Some of the luxury percs are mostly BS.

The Genesis is not quite yet a true luxury car, based on my dealership experiences and this makes me wonder how they can unabashedly offer the Equus at this point in time.
