Back up camera view confusing

just noticed the other day thatWhen in reverse the the camera is confused, shows normal view but says Top view. When switched to top view says normal view…🥴🥴?
is there an adjustment to correct this or is it fault within the camera itself?
 
Pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be, the button is labeled "top down" because you press it to go into that view, not because it's the current view.
