Backup Camera Stopped Working

When my backup camera stopped working I thought it needed replacing. However, after removing the trunk cover and opening and spraying contact cleaner on the white 4 wire connector on the left front of trunk and also opening and spraying contact cleaner on the black 4 wire connector on the right side of the trunk the camera worked. I now have to do this about once a year when the camera stops working.

Sounds like you might need to clean it really good and put dielectric grease on the connectors.
