Backup Camera Upgrade

2020 Genesis G70

Question #1 Has anyone successfully upgraded their cameras to improve the image quality during the day and at night? Although I can see well enough during the day I struggle at night and wish there was a bit more clarity in the 360 image without having to isolate a specific angle.

Question #2 Is the actual problem the quality of the screen and not the cameras themselves. IE even if I were to put the best most expensive cameras the screen would not be capable of displaying the improved input so back to square one.

The actual problem is light, or lack thereof. Both film and electronic cameras need light to work.
To be bright in both sunlight and very little light you need a variable aperture lens. If buying an SLR camera lens the price could easily be $200 or more just to get a wider aperture, and you need four of them.

An alternative (for electronic cameras) is having HDR. This, of course, has a cost as well.

Agreed and I have looked into changing the backup lights but I suspect that the camera technology used in 2020 is dated and/or not the best quality that can be economically obtained comparatively speaking.
