  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New member to the forum. My new 2025 GV70 Prestige with less than 5,000 miles had to have two new front tires installed after a sudden flat revealed severe balding of the inside of both of the front tires (flat was caused by the tire wearing through to the radials). Car has the larger low profile tires. Car had been to the dealer for a warranty issue related to some rattling in the rear end at 2,500 miles but no issues related to the front end were identified at that time. Car is going to the dealer for service tomorrow.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the front end? Any thoughts on what I should be having the service team focus on or questions I should ask?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You may have hit a pothole that messed with your alignment perhaps. Hopefully the dealer will check you alignment and go from there. Might post in the GV70 section, someone over there may have dealt w/ a similar issue.

That's a known issue. The factory alignment often has too much negative camber, shredding the inside edges.

Demand a full four-wheel alignment, not just new tires. Get the printout of the before and after specs. This is likely the root cause.
