  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’ve read some comments with regard to the Barossa Burgundy color and just wanted to make potential buyers aware that the name is totally misleading. There is really no burgundy tint at all. This is more of a “plum” color with an underlying golden brown metallic flake. In my opinion, the brown becomes more apparent in bright sunlight whereas the plum shade is more apparent in shade and light sunlight conditions. The brown can sometimes take on the golden shades of waning sun. The metallic flake is stunning in sunny settings. When I first saw it, I was a bit disappointed, having expected a deep wine burgundy color and almost opted for Mauna Red. Now that I have it, I love the uniqueness, elegance and variability of it. I do think Genesis should change the name to include Plum instead of burgundy to be more accurate and because it is one of the more rare colors and not very available to see at dealerships. I’ve attached some photos of mine trying to capture the color. This is one of those colors that is difficult to capture in a photo and also lends itself to “ visual interpretation”. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” certainly rings true with this color. I hope you find this post helpful :).

Pretty color! It looks great. I agree, it looks plum/brown.
