Jimmmmbo!
Been here awhile...
I just purchased a 2012 Genesis Sedan with just the base audio system. I didn't want to spring for the upgrade packages because I just didn't think it was worth it because I'm a total SQ snob.
I listened to the Lexicon system and it is very good, but I think I can do better.
So, I was wondering what upgrades people with base audio systems have done to their Gennies.
I have 4 Focal 165CVX speakers that I'm planning to put in along with a Schosche 600W amp to start. Then I'm going to look for ways to gain more control over the frequency content of the audio using an equalizer system, perhaps like an Audison Bit One (or Bit Ten if they can come out with it here in the states.
My primary listening is classical, and especially a lot of organ, thus the reason for the Focals because they have a very flat response curve that suits classical well.
Thanks!
