  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am taking delivery of my 2010 4.6 with Tech package next Monday.. I have been very excited about getting the car until I started reading the "Problems" topic in this forum. I have had three Lexus LS models over the past 12 years and never had a problem with any of them.

What's the deal with this battery issue. I see too many people talking about the battery going dead.

Comments?? Did a make a mistake buying this car?

There may have been a few defective batteries but only a handful or so. Personally I think you made an excellent and wise choice. ;)

Go into the Lexus forum of your previous model and I am sure you will find as many if not more complaints of several issues. This is why we have forums, to correct issues. I nor others certainly do not post all the time to brag about how trouble free our cars have been. Apart from a defective headlight housing on delivery, it has been perfect. :D

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Just for kicks I went to the Lexus LS460 Owner's Forum. On the front page the following problems were indicated in various threads:
o Drive train vibrations - 2 wd and awd
o Poor ride quality
o Suspension issues
o Issues with windows opening automatically
o TSB issues

So stay cool and enjoy your Genesis and don't try to compare it to a LS460 they are different in some areas and similar in others. Sounds normal

:)Dave

AND in addition, many people only come to a forum only to speak about problems.;)

Thanks for your comments. I find the forums a very valuable source of information.
