Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Battery replacement and subsequent starting problems

I have a 2009 4.6 with around 60K miles. It has sat for an extended period and the car battery drained completely. I bought a new battery, replaced the old one in the trunk and made sure the terminals were tight.
When I push the Start button, the blue light comes on but the dash info panel does not light up properly. Subdued glow, no characters appear.
Is there a 'magic' procedure that I can use to wake up the ECU or something? Pushing the Start button gets me 3 red blinks. I have tried the outside remote lock/unlock procedure No go. Any help or is this a dealer problem?
