    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Battery Replacement

I just got back from my local auto parts store after trying to replace the battery in my 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. Seems the batteries that were called for were all too wide (left to right) and after finding one with comparable specs, it had the terminals recessed, preventing the factory wiring harness plate to be installed properly. My question is: Is this a part that I'll need to go the dealer for? A simple battery? Can't be, say it aint so.
 
Seems strange.. normally, you just obtain the group number (size) of your battery, and buy another if the same group. It should drop right in.
