  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Let's start with a tiny back story so you can better understand why my username is U K, and my car is obviously in the goold 'ol USA ('murica!). Anyway, I'm in the the USAF and am currently stationed in dreary England.

I bought my car in early June 2012 with a build date of XX FEB 2012, I've acquired various odds and ends for my ride since then.

My goal pretty much right from the beginning when I decided to start modifying a new car, was a bronze/red theme while keeping black accents.

Here it is, start to finish; my Tsukuba Red 2013 Rspec 2.0t 6mt.

The car had 29 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, but took a picture at this number because I'm immature :D

I was so happy when I got the car that I took so many random pictures!

Alright, so there are the starting point pictures that I took exactly one day after I bought the car, on to the more interesting part.

I didn't get many pictures during these parts sadly :( but what I have, I will include. They were all acquired over the course of about 6 months.

Weirtech I/C piping
3" catless turboback exhaust
Aluminum catback (just 8 pounds!) single exit exhaust
Synapse BOV
Weirtech Short Ram Intake

These, for the most part, were installed within days of each other. Note, the lack of exhaust plug, rolled around like that for a good while before IS sent mine out. I opted for the O2 housing the have oem heatshield mounts to retain the OE look, and to protect plastic pieces above it obviously.

Exhuast plug recieved and installed (and later adjusted to be more flush!). That thing still needs to be sanded down a good bit to be flush, I'm debating molding it in and having it painted. Hmmmm.

I never really intended on getting wheels right away, but it just happened one day. Incurve IC-S5 in a Gun Metal finish. 20x9+20 & 20x10.5+15 wrapped in Falken FK452 275/30 & 245/35 tires. As you'll notice, at some point I swapped the all H emblems with wings.

A long time coming, but worth the wait for the looks that I get with these things. You may or may not have seen these pop up on FlyRyde's page every so often, yep, that was me.

Quad bi-xenon retrofit (6k hid)

Next came some much needed Stance Super Sport coilovers. I was still dialing it in height-wise with the fronts in the first picture. Also notable was the front chrome mustache getting a black plastidip treatment, which I didn't paint on the car; the whole bumper was removed, then the stache, then the chrome pieces. ;-)

AGAIN blocked by the pic limit!

Interior shenannigans!

Also, my car has been tuned, SFR 1.0 (sortof) beta. I hit boost cut pretty frequently and peak at 22.3 psi tapering down around ~19 psi.

Nice ride.

while you're over there, find jeremy clarkson and blow his doors off :D

Those tires are waay too small for those sizes. The entire purpose for whider wheels is to run wider tires. 245s belong on a 9" wheel tops.

Did you even read the size wheels and tires, then put them together? Or did you even glance at the pictures? 245/35/20 on a 9" wide wheel in the front........

275/30/20 on a 10.5" wide in the rear
