beeping on pushbutton start (not tech package)?

This may be a real dumb one, but I today noticed something I'm sure didn't happen before: when I press the start button, the car starts, and the (non-nav) audio system beeps 6 times in 3 groups of two "be-beep be-beep be-beep".

No dash warning lights are on, everything I can think to check works, and a quick scan of the start button pages in the manual say nothing.

1) Does yours do this? Did it always do this and I just noticed it now?
2) If not, any ideas what it means before I call the dealer?

Do you start the car before you put your seat belt on? I'm pretty sure mine beeps too, but stops when I buckle the seat belt. Maybe try putting on your seat belt first and then start the car to see if it still does it.
