  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Genesis G70
Anyone have a dealership or salesperson they would recommend of the Seattle-area dealerships (Kirkland, Everett or Skagit. And I guess Vancouver) for purchasing a G70?

I always go south for my genesis needs but I am mostly in the middle between Seattle and Olympia. I wouldn't mind hearing some recommendations myself so I too could go check out that new G70.

Not sure if Doug's is Genesis dealer or not; I bought mine from them in 2015...

They are currently not a Genesis dealer. The only ones in the state are those that @Engineerist mentioned.

I got mine from Kirkland. Pretty good experience. Circle a and 4000 loyalty. David Kim. Bad English but responsive and good dude. Live in Portland. Vancouver genesis was a joke

Nellie, do you have David Kim's email by chance?

Thanks Nellie, understood, much appreciated.

car is fantastic. just had to follow up with them on post purchase registration down here as in different state. no issues. love the car it is so badass!

Glad to hear. I'm going to reach out to him this week. I'll let you know how it plays out.

Hey Seattle crew- any other feedback on the Kirkland location or others in the area? Just starting the search process myself

They're a good crew. I would deal with David Kim again. But it is still a car dealership so make sure you go prepared and know what a good deal looks like. They arn't going to leave money on the table. Their genesis inventory was the largest in the region. They are in the 21st century when it comes to internet sales which is a great benefit to them and which is not true of others dealers in the region (incl non-hyundai).

Did you use circle plan pricing? If you don’t mind asking what did your pricing end up looking like? Would be a helpful comparison

Yes they will honor circle pricing which is better than a dealer discount for G70 since they are selling them pretty much at MSRP currently. For a lease, HMF has a $4k bonus lease cash offer which ends today though, hopefully they continue it, and you can take that to reduce the cap cost. RV is ~ 50% for the G70 at the moment and the rent charge is about 0.0001 for tier 1 credit. Other than that it is doc fee $150, title/reg/plates fee ($153) and tax. That's kind of it. There is no negotiating with Circle pricing but on G70s, there doesnt seem to be much negotiating without Circle either. Another genesis dealer told me they would give me $1000 dealer cash towards the car, but Circle discount is better, more like $2500.

Circle a for me. Plus 3000 lease cash. 53k msrp was around 44700. No tax as Oregon resident. I also had 1000 loyalty bonus

Awesome, thanks for the help fellas. One other question as I'm new to the area. From a quick browse of Kirkland's inventory it looks like all the G70s they have seem to be AWD. Is that pretty standard for the area given weather?

There will be no rwd north of California border. Likewise there will be no Awd south of it. Lol. With very very limited exceptions. If you are buying highly recommend awd for resale alone. Give best regards to my 2016 genesis still sitting on lot there I turned In.
