BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S for 2013 R-Spec Sedan?

Well, it's that time. I've been checking out tires online and I was pretty impressed with the reviews for these tires....And the price.
Before I really dive in. I was wondering if anyone else could give me some feedback that actually has them on their R-Spec.
Next in line would the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. I'm open to all advice for any high performance A/S tire. I'm not too worried about snow being in NC. But I'd like to have the perfect tire for comfort, performance and handling in the rain. Thanks in Advance!

Have you considered the Michelin Pilot Super Sport?

homeofstone, I have. They were my first choice by the way. But after checking Tire Rack's comparisons I decided on the BFGs. Plus these are almost $200 less than the Michelins.
Member, T_E has them on his Eqqus and left a glowing report. And after reading the reviews on TR. I'm locked in to these G-Force Comp 2s.

We just got back from a 5.5 hour drive back from TN through the mountains. There was a TON of rain on the way home. Standing water in the roadway did not affect the drive in any way. The car stuck to the road like it was bone dry. Also the ride was the quietest of any car I've ever driven. As we went through the mountains, I drove, my wife slept. After the mountains, my wife drove and I slept. I forgot to mention, I've never really slept in a car in my adult life...Any car. We kept "The Bridge" on XM, and that helped.
I HIGHLY recommend these tires for anyone driving a 5.0 R-Spec! They ranked #2 on the Tire Rack comparison chart and cost me only $183 per tire vs. The top rated Conti Extreme Contact DW06 at $205 each. I am now enamored with my car's handling and ride quality. I see that this thread hasn't had "legs", but thought I'd pass along this recommendation.

I'm running the Comp 2 A/S on my 5.0 and love them. My only complaint is they are a little noisy (but not as bad as the stock Michelin Energy Saver A/S). They definitely handle better than the suspension can deal with haha.

Still loving mine on the 2012 Equus.....really made a difference in the car and I wish I would have had them on the car earlier. The stock tires were terrible!

My OEM tires are Continental 235/45R19. I read somewhere that an option is to install 245/45R19. It was listed as a summer tire option if I remember correctly. Can I install the 245's on the same rim as the 235's? Thanks all!

Yes you can use the 245s. This is what I did as my car came with the 235s too. You'll love the difference in driving feel!

To my chagrin–and I'm sure to Michelin's, too–the launch of their new all-new Ultra high performance summer tire took place during some unusually cold and wet Southern California weather...

I'll tell you that I had my doubts at the start of the day that an Ultra High-Performance Tire was going to work at 46 degrees F and wet ripping across the desert...

My takeaway was pretty clear: I'm damn impressed with how well the tire behaves in cold and rainy road conditions. In my time on the PS4S, there was never that annoying feeling of "chatter" from the tire. Often in low temperatures, lesser performance tires fail to produce grip. Also, the tire's ability to evacuate standing water—a trait that I'd associate more with an All-Season tire—was really confidence-inspiring. For what it is, the PS4S really does feel pretty Goldilocks: great grip and performance across a huge variety of conditions.

My wheels are 10.5" all around as I went with all rears to maintain the concave look. Handling suffers a bit but I think it handles fine. I believe the setup is 245/35/19 stretched and the offset is like +18 up front and +25 or 28 in the back or something along those lines. Has a slight poke which is why I need the stretch otherwise I have to go more negative on my rear camber to not rub.
