  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Last night I started the car and the climate control screen was blank. I think it still worked for touch input, but it was of course hard to tell. The climate system was still working, and I was able to adjust it via the main infotainment screen. So inconvenient, but not the end of the world.

After driving for a couple of minutes I pulled over and turned the car off and back off again, but that didn't fix it. So I completed the rest of my drive (about 45 minutes) without further incident.

I was going to swing by the dealer today (I was going nearby anyway), but when I started the car this morning the climate display was working fine. I think the display may have been working all along, but not the backlight.

I don't recall any other reports on this forum of a problem with the climate display - anyone else experienced this? Hopefully it was a one off problem, but we'll see.

I have a myriad of software bugs with my infotainment and main cluster screens going blank or freezing but never experienced an issue with the HVAC screen

this happened to me yesterday...first time, and like you, turning it off after a few minutes didn't solve the problem. i arrived at my destination, parked, came back 15 or so minutes later and everything worked fine.

have you had a repeat incident?

Another reason I got rid of my 2023 GV60. A minor, annoying, and unsolvable problem that the dealer never could replicate. Sorry to hear it is still happening.

Not so far.

Hmm - not long after that, the 12v battery failed. Doesn't seem connected, but maybe?
