  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all.... Traveled to Florida this past week from Indy and munched highway miles with pleasure on I-65 N/S...

But an issue has raised its ugly head and wondered if any folks experienced same.

As I was using cruise control with lane keep I began to get 2 different warnings which stopped cruise control from working: AVSM OFF warning and then BSD icon popped up... First time it has happened and I was never able to clear the errors....

Then after then minutes or so AVSM would clear and I could re-engage cruise again BUT BSD error continued...

I looked at the sensors.... Nothing on them that would block them from working....

Any ideas?

Was the AVSM light during rain at speed? I had that light pop up intermittently under those circumstances and was told it is something like the system was detecting a lack of traction. I haven't seen the BSD, but if it was the former, it would make sense the cruise control would turn off under those conditions.

Any ideas?I had the same thing happen to me during heavy rain on 95 in Florida. Rain let up, light off. Never had that happened
