  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has this happened to anybody else..have tech package and first time on brick paved road which is bumpy..the BSI went on without any cars around and stayed on for a few blocks..Also when car was in BS and then out of it the indicator stayed on for a block or so..

Real annoying seemed like a loose connection...Hope dealer can find cause,,It seems to work fine on normal roads..

Thanks..

Not normal for sure. Mine seems totally accurate and goes off just as soon as the other car is out of my blind spot. Just as nice is the warning when a much faster car is about to overtake me.

I have noticed when driving in heavy rain that I get false indicators sometimes. Since using Tech Shine that issue has not returned.

I recently had my BSD system register a continuous presence on the right on a 2 lane road. I put the car in neutral and restarted it while rolling and it stopped doing it. It hasn't done it before or since. I have no idea if water or a leaf or anything else might have affected the system. It was wet, but not raining at the time and leaves were falling near the road -- no idea if either might have contributed.

Try a good wax over the sensors as it seemed (so far) to work for me.

First thousand miles or so left blind spot came on while in a right curve and stayed on about a mile. Happened several time on same curve but hasn't happened again in the last two months. Sensors were clean and the road was 2 lane. Seemed to be set off by an oncoming car.
