Anyone noticed that the Blue link service has been down since 6pm EST, on the phone APP as well as their web site
With all the big web sites/services exploits/vulnerabilities I hope they did not get hit with the latest nasty one, especially with all my details in their system!
(Remote SSH exploit, for those who care).
At any rate, called via the Blue link button and complained, the rep. apologized profusely saying they have maintenance going on, without any ETA!!, I said don't you supposed to send an email?
She said well it was last minute thing and they did not know about it, Yada yada...
I said if it goes on beyond tomorrow morning I will be calling in and ask for free blue link service extension.
The good news, I learned a new trick through the process, apparently you can start / lock your car etc using any old telephone, you just call in the blue link (1-8552 Blue Link) number, press 1, say or punch in your primary phone (the one the blue link service is registered with), punch in your 4 digit pass code and voil'a you can now control our car remotely using your voice.
At least there is a backup plan! but pathetic never the less!!
