  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Some one please correct if I am wrong, but when using the "Start" fx from the widget, shouldn't the settings (AC/Heater, front defroster, and temperature) be the same as the previous remote start?
Whenever I use the widget to start the car, the temperature is turned all the way up on the defroster; making for a hot interior; IT'S SUMMER! However when I use the app and select the desired settings (in this case, lowest temperature), the car starts fine. From my previous Genesis sedan, whenever I used the Start from the widget, the car would turn on with the previous settings. Am I missing something?

You can set a default preset in the app. Click on "Remote", then "Start" and check the individual setting and make the one you want default.

Will try that; THANKS!

Doesn't work, lately. New phone, reinstalled app, have default profile set. Use widget and profile is not respected - just starts the car with nothing turned on.

2022 G70 - This still doesn't work for me, i.e., default is NOT used when using the Start widget on Android. Any updates?
