  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
1G Genesis Sedan (2009-2014)
I just started using bluetooth in my 2012 sedan in May. It worked for the most part with the iphone 5C. Recently I stated getting the message "pairing failed". Now I have switched to an iphone Xs. I paired it successfully once but now I get the pairing failed message every time I get into the car. Is there a fix for this? Is there a software or firmware update I can load to the car?

I have the same issue. Any solution would be greatly appreciated. Same iPhone model (Xs) too. Previously I had an iPhone 7+ and this occurred very infrequently. Now it is every other time I get into the car.
