Upfront disclosure: I did NOT purchase my Genesis from Bob Poynter Hyundai.
I want to recommend Bob Poynter Hyundai in Columbus, Indiana. I worked with Randy Wetzel as I went through my purchase of a Genesis. I was attracted to the dealership because of their upfront internet pricing, no document fees and the fact that Randy was very responsive and upfront in every email discussion we had.
I wanted a 2012 3.8 Genesis w/ Premium, White/Cashmere. My second and third color combo's were titanium grey/black and platinum silver/black.
Randy had the silver/black and his no haggle price was $35,845 after $1500 competitive rebate. (I just checked at bobpoynterhyundai.com and it is down to $34,845)
Since it was my third choice color combo, I was willing to pay a little more at a local dealer for my first choice color combo but not more than $500.
I was able to get my 2012 3.8 white/cashmere w/premium for $35,695 net of $1,500 rebate at my local dealer but it took some work.
Even when I sent Randy an email telling him I would be buying local, he was professional and said he would never begrudge someone buying local if they got a fair deal on the car they wanted.
No doubt when I get ready to buy another car, Randy will be one of the first people I seek out. I have nothing but good things to say about him and how he treated me during the the whole purchase experience.
If you are within a 200 mile radius of Columbus, Indiana, I would make it a point to seek out Randy Wetzel at Bob Poynter Hyundai. Particularly if you want a 2012 silver/black w/ premium Genesis.
