Just seeing if there is a heavy aftermarket support for our newer cars.

2012 Genesis Sedan.


Korea has alot but I havent seen if anyone can find any products.

The short answer is... not really. I am on the Korea Owners website, and even though I can't understand a single word of what is said, I can tell just by pictures that they have vast aftermarket options, from anything cosmetic (like Prada wheels) to performance (exhaust systems, air suspensions) to simple Korean-market only options that are offered, like a rear dvd player, etc.

They also seem to be big fans of accessories, like 3D navigation systems and DVR cameras.

Unfortunately, you'll find our choices are much more limited. However... I've seen lots of mods here on the boards. Just use the search function above, and you should find at least a dozen worthwhile upgrades/mods/accessories/cosmetic upgrades for your new Genny.

I should probably list a couple of things I've seen:

• Front, rear and wheel cap wing badges
• Aftermarket wheels/tires
• Tinted windows
• Lowered suspensions (rare)
• Exhaust system upgrades
• Wing steering wheel airbag unit
• HID upgrades

And a few accessory recommendations like

• Key cover
• USB flash drive for music
• Integrated radar detector
• DVR camera

I have, as a matter of fact. I bought my hood, trunk and wheel cap badges off ebay. Most of the suppliers on there will give you the correct ones. Remember, you have to shave off the posts in the front hood badge. Also, the hood badge is bigger than the rear trunk one.

Most of the center caps are interchangeable between the different sized-wheels; for instance, the 17" wheels from 2011 have the same caps as the 2012 19" R Spec wheels.

Steering wheel sticker was also bought on ebay. As long as you buy the sedan one, you should be good to go.

Well, This Forum might have a new twist once the car parts are ordered.

I am selling my Lexus soon and once I have some more $$ towards air suspension I will post up pics too.

Here is a picture of what I made and put in my passenger side area.

Its a Bombay Vip Line Tray,

Btw It will complete the theme for the Curtains and Vip look once finished. I know you guys only see a few items so could look tacky,

Here are my Suede Tan Neck rests (Bellezza brand)

I have already removed the old lighting, added all the LED interior lighting, also the trunk light area too

6k HID's will be in the fogs and top lighing

This is a 5.0 No rspec, Only huge differences are the wheels and suspension which I should have changed out by November time frame.


Btw, Thank you for posting some reference for me to kinda search, I was digging more today and found what I needed.

Next few items.
(Wheels), 20x9.5 and 20x11
(Air suspension), UAS/Airrunner/Air Force (one of the few still deciding.)
(Body kit), found 1 kit but not sure over all how it looks. kinda Eh
(Badges) Genesis Prada, ordered a few badges,
(Grill) looking at the Genesis Prada,
(Headlamps) Genesis Prada,
(Exhaust) Stock but the electronic cut outs
