  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'll start my thanking previous posters for the threads related to exhaust systems.

Ease of Installation: $48 at the local muffler shop, this tells me it was pretty easy.

Sound: it's exactly what I was looking for, low rumble at idle, nice growl under acceleration, really loud at full blast, again exactly what I was looking for.

Drone: Absolutely at lower RPM but easily controllable with the tranmission in manual mode. Barely noticeable at highway speeds below 78.

Power and Fuel Economy: Power definitely "feels" better. I've chirped the tires more often in the last couple of weeks. City fuel economy has suffered slightly but it's the same going down the freeway. Conclusion; chirping the tires and city fuel economy are attributed to driving more often in manual mode.

The only downer of the whole situation was actually getting the exhaust. I ordered it in mid-March but didn't get it until the end of June. Very frustrating but hay it arrived and I'm very pleased.
