  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone have this? I intend to use silicon lubricant near the pedal assembly, but just wondering if anything I needed to be worried about. Thanks!

Nothing I would be worried about. Just catch all of the pivot and contact points of the assembly.

I've had a problem with the brake pedal on my 2015 3.8 Ultimate. I wouldn't say it squeaks, but it clicks and clunks so that I feel it. It feels like it is hitting some sort of detent, then passes on by it or that it was maybe wobbling on an elongated mount of some sort. I actually had my brake pedal unit replaced earlier this year after I showed the service tech that a new 2015 or 16 didn't do that. He replaced the pedal assembly and it went away. That only lasted about 8 weeks and then it started doing it again. It was intermittent at first, but now has become an all the time thing. It's annoying, but there doesn't seem to be anything bad happening.

Hmm thanks NVARob, that's useful info.
