  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So now my front passenger side rotor is squeaking and squealing. The biggest concern is when I brake and take a corner their is a knocking sound. Wtf i just got this car it has 19,000kms and had a full hyundai inspection. Any idea what this could be? Tie rod? Bearings? With only 19,000kms though?

Since I assume you can reproduce the problem, take it your dealer ASAP.

Glad to have found this forum. Anyways, just purchased genesis sedan 3.8 a few weeks ago. Just been driving normally, no harsh racing or speeding.

I am having the same exact issue with the knocking noise coming from the front passenger brakes when slowing down.

This is my first hyundai from all the great reviews so if anybody got this problem fixed, please post your solution.

Thanks a many

Solution is to go to dealer ASAP and replicate the problem for them.

I notice that the op is in Canada most likely re: km driven. It could have something to do with the chemical mix put on icey roads.

I live in Canada and have 24,000km. I bought it new. I have not had any issues with brakes or front end noises. Only salt and or sand is used on the icy roads here in southern Ontario.
