  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I searched but don't find anything on this in the 2015 section. And I've looked in the manual.

Did the NAVI bread crumbs disappear from the 2015? I had it in my 2009.:confused:

The blue trail turns clear behind the car position on the screen. Is that what you mean?

I really liked the bread crumbs on my 2009 and I miss them on the 2015 Ultimate. If there is a way to activate them on the 2015, I haven't found it.

I use breadcrumbs on my boat's GPS all the time as a good course reference when navigating shallows I've been in before or back tracking to a specific recently visited location at night - but not clear why this would be useful in a car on marked roads? I could see it's use in a jeep/SUV in off road situations, but how would you need/use this on marked roads in a luxury car? Just curious?

Nope. When you are simply driving, not with a destination active, the navi would put small blue dots on the map to show the route you took. The 2009 would let them build up over time until you clear them.

Nickgen- it came in handy for me after going to someone's home in a subdivision with loads of turns, and to then go home, I only needed the first couple of turns to get me on my way out. It saved me time, not having to tell the navi to navigate me back home, etc. it's not a huge thing, but it was fun watching often used roads go solid blue with all of the bread crumbs (dots):)
