  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Since the genesis.com configurator is not on-line yet, I've put together a small guide to build your G70. The biggest question is regarding how the 6MT works with respect to packages that can be added.

Here's the hierarchy:

1. Drivetrain and Packages

2.0T; 8AT [AWD, +$2000]
  • Advanced [$34,900]
    • Elite [+$5,000]
      • Prestige [+$3,000]
        • Sport [+$1,000]
        • Dynamic [+$1,000]
2.0T; 6MT [AWD, +$2000]
  • Sport [$37,900]
    • ??
3.3T; 8AT [AWD, +$2000]
  • Advanced [$43,750]
    • Elite [+$1,750]
      • Prestige [+$2,500]
        • Design [+$750]
        • Sport [+$1,500]
          • Dynamic [+$750]
Notes:
  • Destination Charge +$995.
  • Features for each packages can be found here.
  • AWD adds Heated Steering Wheel.
  • Only 2.0T models have Auto Off/On. 3.3Ts have a blank switch below and left of gear shifter.
2. Exterior Colors
  • Santiago Silver
  • Himalayan Gray
  • Victoria Black
  • Casablanca White
  • Adriatic Blue
  • Mallorca Blue
  • Havana Red
  • Siberian Ice
  • Black Forest Green (exclusive to Design Launch package)
3. Interiors
  • Advanced package comes standard with synthetic leather seats: black or grey.
  • Elite package upgrades to genuine leather with vertical stitching: black or grey.
  • Prestige package adds stitched Nappa leather seats: black, grey, or vanilla beige.
  • Sport package adds black, sport quilted Nappa leather with choice of red or grey contrast stitching.
  • Dynamic package comes with unique beige Nappa leather with green contract stitching.

Did I miss anything?

SI is available in non-Sport models.

Brown is not available in the USA.

Dynamic has a unique interior...beige with green piping.

Good job!!

Thanks for the corrections. Too bad about the brown interior - it looks pretty good from the pics. I havent seen a good pic of the green piped interior yet.

I meant brown exterior. But not available inside either.

Per the brochure...interior is only in gray/silver and black. There is a reference to burgundy/black...not sure where that comes into play.

From what I've gathered, 2.0T 6-speed is synthetic leather only.

Thank you So much Dpaulc. what you did here for free that probably took you a few hours, Genesis has not been able to do for how long now? year?! what a shame !

I came in here and got excited at first cause I thought Genesis had finally gotten it's crap together and released the build and price. Unfortunately not. Carry on.

There is a reference to burgundy/black...not sure where that comes into play.

In Canada there is a "Velvet Burgundy Nappa Leather" option which gives you burgundy dashboard, upper door panels and the portion of the dash that extends down to the shifter with the black Nappa with burgundy stitching.

Communicated with Kevin Smith today. Asked him about the Online Configurator.

If all goes according to plan, within a few weeks.

Kevin

What plan? What is going on?!! I get a funny feeling they want to have the configurator ready for all three 2019 cars at once. Which would kind of make sense.

I am not asking anymore...so we just need to wait at this point. Hopefully by mid-Nov.

This is at least consistent with what he communicated to me near the end of Sep.... end of Oct for "all-new configurator."
