  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My wife saw a 2015 3.8 Parisian Gray with Gray interior, but she wants ventilated seats and the car didn't have them. I went to the Hyundai.com site and it doesn't show Gray as an interior option with the Parisian Gray exterior. What gives? I saw the car and rode in it with her so I know at least one exists. Was it a special order option or is the website in error? Thanks, Gregg

The black is really a dark gray. Is this what you are referring to as gray? The gray is really like a light gray.

In the USA, the 3.8 with Signature Package and above has ventilated front seats according the Hyundai.com website. Standard on the 5.0.

Parisian grey with grey interior does exist, but mine was a special order, however I ordered mine at the end of July and got a call a few days back that it's going to be delayed until end of November to be delivered... I really like the car but the dealer is really making it hard for me to keep justify waiting... Having a look at other brands just in case they get another delay.

I think that Midnightsun has the correct answer.:

There are no special orders from a dealer to the factory in Korea for the USA Genesis. If a dealer said that, they mean that they put in a request to HMA (Hyundai Motor America) asking for them to be allocated that color combo when it comes in. It is possible, based on customer demand, that future HMA orders to the factory could include a larger number of a color that is more popular than was originally anticipated, but that process takes several months. And any such orders by HMA would be one of announced color combos (unless they made a mid-year color change, but that would show up on the website).

The gray color I saw myself and was a sort of blue-gray color with off white piping on the edges. The color was perfect for the car in Parisian Gray. It definitely was not black or very dark gray. It was the same sort of hue as the Parisian Gray. Thx Gregg

Again I think you got the gray mixed up with the black which is really a dark gray. Even you mentioning the similarity to Parsian Gray would make sense that the colour is in fact the black you are referring to. Reason I say this is all the colours come with contrast piping and the gray has black piping, the Black (or dark gray) has a light gray (almost off white) piping.;) My lord are you colour blind?:p

Do yourself a favour and call the dealer for specifics of the car you saw.
