Hey all,
Got my Equus last year and loved it for a while. Over the last few months I noticed the ride quality starting to deteriorate and now it feels like a truck. Going over small cracks or strips of tar patches, it feels quite stiff; harsh like a sports car where you can feel the painted lines in the road. I know my tires are good, as I've had these same tires back when it was smooth, and they still have plenty of tread in them. I took it to my mechanic, but no suspension codes come up so they don't really have much to work with. He apparently had a scan tool that was able to perform an air suspension calibration and so he did so, but no change. My nearby Hyundai dealer doesn't really have a good reputation so I'm not really sure about bringing it to them to diagnose.
Does anyone have experience with their suspension feeling extremely rough but not giving errors? Do you know a fix or course for troubleshooting? If there's a certain sensor that's may be the issue I may look into replacing it. I'd like to enjoy the smooth ride a bit longer before an air strut fails and needs a Strutmaster kit lol
