• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "2009 Genesis" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 2009 Genesis Sedan" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... If the dealer sees colder plugs they can’t assume you ran a tune, that’s speculation. Speculation doesn’t work on courts.
I think his point was that at the end of the day the dealer/manufacturer is not worried about a lawsuit for denying your claim because like most major companies they have the financial resources to wait you out. Most purchasers of a $50k car can't afford 50k in lawyer/arbitration costs.

Also if I tuned my car and needed to take the car in for drive train related warranty work I'd be switching the plugs back out

Not an issue for us leasing folks. Plugs are good for...and not checked...until like 100k miles or something.

Read the whole post, if I was going in for a Power train warranty repair I would swap stock plugs back in. Not routine service. Meaning some shit broke and they are repairing transmission or engine parts
I did. Why the F would they look at your plugs for transmission work. It like 1.5 hours labor.

Either way...there is nothing wrong with swapping plugs. They are better than stock anyway.
