Butt comfort abounds

One thing ya gotta love is that the seats in the Genesis sedan are just a touch wider than many competitors. I tried the new Lexus ES recently and the narrower seats would be a big deal-killer for me. Same with the Infinity and the Lincoln MKS. For me, anyway, these are some of the main Genesis competitors.

Now I just wish my left arm could find a more comfortable position during long drives. Our '09 Taurus offers a comfy arm rest AND the windowsill is wide and supportive. Took it to Niagara Falls recently because of its long trip comfort and its 21 cu ft trunk.

I LOVE my seats. The only problem I have with mine is an annoying squeak on the seatbelt assembly (rubs up against the seat), which goes away with some leather conditioner applied once in a while.

Mine is developing a "rear-end" imprint though... is this Hyundai's idea of memory foam?



And yeah, these are the most comfortable seats I've ever owned. And I've owned German, American and Japanese in the past.
