    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Calling all iOS / Android Beta Enthusiasts, Early Adopters, and Tech Testers...

Are you motivated by the desire to be among the first to experience new digital products, influence development, and/or to contribute to improving user experiences?

The idea is to get people up and away from their devices - and involved in local meet-ups, car shows, events, clubs, racing at sanctioned race tracks, and in-person buying, selling, and trading.

With so much of our lives being online, I thought an app that moved us off line would be interesting.

It's a big endeavor that'll take a lot of work - but this is an opportunity to provide direction for what can turn out to be a great experience for many people - before it's seen by the general public.

A technical background is not required, but those WITH one can help identify complex issues.

Hi there. I have something coming that'll be using a more familiar layout for people who use the latest social media platforms. I'm thinking I may be able to have this content appear in that format FOR THOSE who choose to use it. But first I need to get the other platform running. :)

Hey there! Well, if you'd like to - you could just run through the system like anyone might - and point out issues. I'm looking for people who find this sort of thing (automotive related social networking) interesting.
 
On Android, couple first impressions about UX while registering:

1. No explanation for difference between display name and username. Would be nice to know what each of them is needed for (since both are "required").
2. If I'm picking a password there should be a second field to confirm my password choice (in case of typos).
3. Password field should not auto-default to capitalizing the first letter.
4. Should also say what the requirements are for the password (if there are any).

Do you have to send out the verification email yourself? I've been waiting about 30 minutes now and clicked the resend verification email link multiple times but still haven't received it. Not in spam either.

It's automatic, and I use a paid service, but still not reliable. I'm almost ready to just give up on email altogether...
