  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi there,

I am a damage appraiser at a collision centre and currently having oodles of problems finding a certain part for a customer's vehicle.

Our local Hyundai dealership is proving extremely useless.

Please see the pictures I've attached and let me know if anyone can come up with a part number for me. Or direct me on how to find it in the parts fiche.

Thanks so much in advance.

I think we need a little more information to go on. like what year what engine what style to try to figure out what the part is in your picture.
I have a 2011 sedan with a 3.8 V6 and there's nothing around the air intake box that looks like your pictures, so I'm guessing it might be a 4.6 V8 we're looking at.
Hyundai has a web site that covers just about everything on their cars. You have to set up an account, but it's no biggy and best of all it's free.

It's a V8 part for sure, but good luck trying to find the part number. I think it's pretty crazy if the dealership can't help. Maybe try a few dealers if you haven't already.

It's a decent site. The problem is there are no part numbers for the parts.

Part number on my car is DK210-3M151. You'll need to double check it with the dealership just to be sure I pulled the right number. The part actually has what looks to be a dryer hose underneath the hard plastic that curves down to the intake flap. The two bolts are 10mm (same as the headlight bolts up top).

EDIT
Just checked my estimating software, and it's called an "Air Duct" in my software. #28210-3M150 according to it (pulling up a 2010 V8). Retail cost $75.03.
