Can I replace the "H" emblem on my trunk with the Genesis emblem?

My 2015 3.8 Genesis has that ugly H on the trunk. I notice some 2015 3.8 models have the nicer Genesis eagle over the trunk. Is this something that can be switched out?

Yes.

My only tip would be to add some weatherproofing silicon to tab holes on the inside of the trunk lid behind the emblem for extra protection for water intrusion.

Not for the 2015 and 2016 Genesis models.

The rear wing emblems that matches the front wing emblem are made for the 2017+ G80 models with different tab locations, hence why you have to remove the tabs for the rear wing emblems to work on 2015 and 2016 models with H emblems.

If its any consolation - I did my badge "swap" when I first got the car in May 2015.

6+ years later, the glue on the winged badge has been holding up great and it still looks brand new. The tabs really might just be there for alignment, if you're careful and center it properly, it'll last you for years to come.
