Can not buy a 2018 G80

I am wanting to buy 2018 G80 3.8 in the Bay Area (san francisco) and saw on a Hyundai dealer web site 4 for sale so I drove the 25 miles to see them. Got there and they do not have any on the lot, the 4 were on loan to G80 customers! But they are on your web site for sell! Short story is Hyundai dealers are apparently not getting any new Genesis as they will be going to dedicated Genesis dealers, which do not yet exist so how can I buy a new, unused 2018 G80? 10 months ago greater LA had 14 white/beige (colors I want) G80 and today there are 2 (probably loaners). Hyundai is not replenishing Genesis cars. What is going on??

There are many threads here about the dealer issue you may want to read up on. Essentially, until the legalities of Genesis dealers is cleared up, there are no Genesis dealers, thus, no cars. No date yet when it will be fixed.

Going to have to check other Hyundai dealerships in the Bay area to see if they have any 2018MY G80's in stock (or may have to check downstate or out-of-state).

Seems likely that California will be one of the last states to get Genesis up and running (and for the 2019MY to start hitting the lots) - so if looking for a 2019, probably won't be a for another month or 2 (maybe longer).

Genesis stopped shipments (as well as production) of the 2018MY earlier in the year as the 2019MY were to launch sometime in the spring (which was delayed) - hence, the lack of inventory of 2018MY.
