  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If you have the tech package, I'm trying to remember what the 4 buttons were on the left side of the dash? I remember my 2010 having four buttons, and my 2012 also has 4 buttons:
  • Parking Sensor
  • LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System)
  • ESC off
  • Dashboard brightness

Below that is the auto-hold button and a pull up lever for the parking brake.

Which button did LDWS replace? Was it the auto-hold button?

I have 2009 with technology package with these buttons:
  • Parking Sensor
  • AFLS On/Off
  • ESC off
  • Dashboard brightness

Cool thanks! I'm wondering why the AFLS had a toggle button in the first place; I can't off the top of my head think of a situation when I'd want it off.

My ex's father hated seeing the lights move. He ran AFLS off all the time

I never really notice they move except when they do their dance on start up. Strange this would bother anybody.

I drive on quite a few small roads surrounded by trees and at nights this feature does help!
