Can the steering wheel "wheel" button(s) be programmed?

The one on the left I keep inadvertently pushing in and muting my audio. Can this be re-programmed? The one on the right I seem to push in a lot by accident as well, but that doesn't do anything. Ditto on the (re)programming of the one on the right side.

No. Or, at least, if they can there is no mention of this ability nor are there instruction on how to.
