I have the 2014 hyundai Genesis sedan with the lexicon system. Awhile back my boyfriend decided it would be a good idea connecting a velodyne home powered sub to the speaker wire from the stock sub in the car. Then he plugged on the power for the velodyne sub into an inverter which was then plugged into the cigarette lighter power supply in the car. Then this happened..... it made a sound like it powered on and immediately shut off. Since then we've never had sound in the car. Only when you first turn on the car they is sound for a few seconds and then nothing. Please help I really wanna my tunes back and I have no clue what to do.
 
Check the AMP fuse in the trunk fuse panel.

If that's OK, then disconnect the battery and return the car to stock wiring. Keep the battery disconnected for >30 minutes. Then reconnect the battery and re-try.

If that doesn't fix it, then your next step is probably an automotive electrician or automotive audio shop for a proper diagnosis.
