  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi, I'm an owner of G80 2023 which I bought it brand new few months ago, I recently discovered an acceleration issue while pressing full accelerator, car pick full RPM but stuck acceleration at constant speed. it wont move further, velocity don't work. while driving normal with normal acceleration o problem but when I give full throttle press to accelerator speed or velocity just stuck it wont move or pick speed but rpm at max. so is this some feature or alarming ?

There is a speed limit setting that if set for a certain speed that if you try and go over that speed the car will not accelerate past that speed no matter how far you press the accelerator down.

Go to You Tube on your phone or computer and search Genesis G80 Speed Limit Assist. You will see a Tutorial that will better help you to understand how it works and how to engage and disengage it.
I have a feeling that yours might be engaged but there should be something showing on the instrumentation screen showing that it is engaged, but check out the Tutorial .

It does not sound like to me that Hamza is referring to top end speed, just general acceleration. The way I read it, the RPM increases, but the speed does not. That would indicate a slipping transmission to me.

yea I'm talking about general acceleration not about assist limiter, with normal acceleration without speed limiter if I accelerate with full throttle whatever the velocity I'm going in rather then picking up the velocity it just stuck at where it is and RPM hits the max as I been pressing full throttle acceleration

I just thought this might be something that you might take a look at. I was hoping for an easier resolution for you, but it sounds like you need to take the car into service. The good thing is whatever the problem the car is under warranty.
Be firm and make sure you get everything that Genesis has promised.

Good Luck🍀
