  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can someone tell me if the cargo net is standard equipment on the V-8 with Tech? If not can you give me a parts number?

Thanks much:D

Don't know if it's standard, but my Tech came with the net and the heavy "rubber" trunk liner!

My V8 Tech come with the net but no "rubber" trunk liner.

Pretty sure the NET is standard on all models and the liner is an extra cost [or freebie] option.

My V6 with Tech had the net included.

To widen the discussion, is anyone doing anything to manage storage in the trunk? Even with the cargo net that is one big trunk. I put a large plastic storage box in the back under the net to store items so they do not slide around.

I took my 'extra stuff' like the original wheel caps, the flying H, etc. and put them in zip lock bags and stored them in the spare tire well. Works Great!

I have the slippery rubber liner, extra cost, $100+. I buy 2” Velcro at the fabric store. Used it on the 2003 Max to hold items on the sides and still seems to be working ok. Have to buy both sides but I discard the non-sticky part.

Got the net and the plastic trunk tub.

I was, however, thinking that the tray would have a little better GRIP to it. I like it but there will be better ones to come.
