  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Cargo Tray

does anyone recommend getting it?
what is it?
In addition to Hyundai's, there are a bunch of aftermarket cargo trays in various sizes and configurations. They are containers that you can put stuff in in the trunk to keep them from shifting/rolling around. If you've ever had a bag of groceries tip over and spill you know what a PITA it is to collect all of the stuff - it's not easy to reach the far end of the trunk while standing on the ground, unless you're maybe 7 feet tall. I just use the cargo net myself.

I recommend it. :)
As DG_Moore stated, it keeps the fabric from getting ruined from spills as well as hold your rollable items in place. I have the trunk rubber mat and the cargo net.

I got it,,, every plan to open your trunk in the rain? get the tray or an aftermarket one......

It was the first thing I got along with the all weather mats. Fit is superb, keeps the trunk carpet clean and the price was acceptable.

As I posted over a year ago, I went to my local Ford dealer and got the Cargo Organizers designed for the Ford Fusion. See Below.

Large Cargo Organizer, Ford Part Number AE5Z-78115A00 Price was $92.00

Cooler Bag (fits inside above item), Part AE5Z-19H484-A Price was $28.75

They work great, and I love them. Tight fit, but it does fit.

The one I did not buy, but you may want it as it is a little smaller and would fit a little better in the Genesis trunk is;
Small Cargo Organizer, Ford Part Number AE5Z-78115A009-B Price was $82.14

I used a "trunk mat" in my 2001 outback, later in my 2005 Taurus wagon, and now in my Genesis. I've hauled bags of soil and other 'dirty things" and my cars have looked like new throughout the time I owned them. Small price to pay.

My Son bought me an OEM cargo tray for my birthday. I love it. The Golf clubs can make quite a mess and the tray makes it an easy cleanup after golf. Also, the water problem when it is raining makes the tray a must, it keeps everything easy to dry and clean up. I highly recommend the tray as a worth while purchase.

The OEM cargo tray fits like a glove. Great investment. ;)
