In this Texas heat, my G80 seems hot in the front seat, even after AC cool-down. I've noticed strong radiant heat coming from the windshield. It's much more noticable than other cars I have and driven.
In Texas it's against the law to tint the front windshield, but I'm wondering if a clear ceramic film is made that will help. I've read that ceramic is the best at blocking heat, but not sure of clear film availability.
I can make some calls but wondering what experience any of you have had.
I've got a light tint (maybe 80%) on the sides and rear - don't like a dark tint because I prefer to be able to see out the windows at night.
