  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey sorry if its been discussed before. Has anyone here had a ceramic coating or C Quartz coating put on their Genesis....or any vehicle for that matter?

Haven't used those in particular but I have used Chemical Guys Jet Seal which worked well but didn't last long between polishing and waxing and I wash and wax constantly! I now switched over to Liquid Glass. It's an old school product and I never gave it a thought due to thinking new products/technology would be better until I got this car and read all the reviews on Mercedes, Jaguar and Corvette forums where they all highly rate it. Well I can say it is way better than the Jet Seal and any combo of sealer and wax I used before and really makes the pearl pop. I have 3 coats on the car now and I'm trying to get 10 coats built up before waxing for the winter. From what I read the C Quartz has a product that you can buy online as a due-it-yourself but the C Quartz Finest needs to be applied by a professional. If you do use any of these yourself just remember that the prep work is what's going to make all the difference.
