Change your cabin air filters!

Below is a photo of my old cabin filter next to the new one I installed in its place. I’ve only owned this car for under 3 years, but I’m pretty sure this one was original (14 years old!), as it had the Hyundai name and part number on the side of the pleats.

Fortunately the original filter did its job. It was clean on the bottom side, aside from some staining, and the blower fan was clean, as far as I could tell…

I change mine every 15K miles which as a matter of fact, I'm due now. I have spares in my garage wall locker.

Oh man, that gross.

I change my cabin air and engine air filters every April regardless of miles.
