Changed Alternator, now No Radio

Hello, I have a 2012 Genesis sedan 3.8L. I changed my alternator and now my radio doesn’t work.

Hello, I have a 2012 Genesis sedan 3.8L. I changed my alternator and now my radio doesn’t work.

If you cut power totally, you trip the anti-theft setup. You have to enter a 4 digit code.

If no one here can tell you how, do a Google search for ideas. You need the VIN to get it but it may even be in the car someplace.

Thanks for your help. I went through my fuse diagram one last time and noticed a 15 amp fuse was missing in my radio slot. I put one in, cranked my car and the radio came on. Thanks for your advice. Now quick question, also since I replaced my alternator, my clock defaults back to 1:00 every time I turn my car off. Do you have any advice to remedy this issue.
