  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Cheap New 2013 RSPECs

so tempted, not that far of a drive to get to.

Assuming it's not a demo vehicle or dealer repainted/repaired.... Run... don't walk for this deal! I guess the great financing options remain intact as well?

Nice deal.

Just make sure they don't make up for it with all the crap they try to nail you with in front of the finance person.

Luther Hyundai in Bloomington, MN has one 2013 at $40,865 and another 2013 at $41,695. Don't know any other details.

Good deal, but notice the pop-up window next to the discount in the price block.

"May be required to finance through HMF, dealer retains all rebates, must qualify for owner loyalty or competitive vehicle rebate. In stock units only"

Financing through HMF no biggie...when financing I prefer manufacturer backed programs. But when buying my Genny I wouldn't have qualified for owner loyalty or competitive vehicle rebates since my previous car wasn't a Hyundai and was totalled in an accident so no trade-in. So the deal is good, but must read fine print.

The r specs are on eBay from Shawnee as well. They have white with cashmere a silver and black one. steve is a great ....honest guy.

Back in January, the dealer got another $500 rebate if the buyer financed through Hyundai. At his suggestion, I financed $10,000 (1.9% interest). Then I made 1 payment and paid off the balance when the next payment notice came. Cost me about $35 interest. Could have got by with about $18 interest if I hadn't been gone on a 3 week vacation when the first payment was due. I actually left the check for the first payment with the dealer, and he sent it in.

I didn't trade anything in either. Instead, I provided a copy of a title to a car I owned. If you still had the title to your wrecked car, you should have been good to go.

Yea you have to finance a portion of the sale through Hyundai - but everyone qualifies for the rebate, either you drive a Hyundai or you drive another brand, aka loyalty or competitive rebate... Not sure if this requires trading in the car or not. It's basically an extra $1500 off on top of all the rebates and this lasts through the end of April.

They are all brand new - not repainted or anything.

You do not have to trade in the competitive vehicle.
My 99 TL is still sitting in the driveway.

Very true. 11 months ago when I purchased the 2012 Optima for the wife, I mentioned that I owned the Genesis and Sonata. The sales rep said the sonata actually qualified for this discount but we didn't have to actually trade in the car. I believe that give us a $1,000 credit:)

price looks good until you compare with Hyundai Circle price which is $42,861.00 before $1500 rebate.

So that's $41,361...a saving of $24...

I assume they will hit you with document fees and preparation fees and what not. If you brought the Circle price in at least you would not have to hear about how greatly discounted the car already is off msrp :2cents:

and on either way you get down to 40-41k range, it's silly not to take advantage of the free 500$ of matching money from Motozuma on new Hyundai purchases...they extended the program out to 1/1/14.

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/financial-tools/savings-matching.aspx

so $40,861... circle pricing, w/ competitive, and motozuma...the lowest I've seen was $40,731 on a '13 rspec.. and that was for a dealer in Ohio when checking circle pricing out (titanium grey).

I bought my 2012 RSpec from Shawnee over the phone for about the same price. Dealt with Steve Genova. I had Steve fax to me a purchase order/sales agreement signed by Shawnee that disclosed all fees. I wire transferred the funds; and flew from OR to Kansas City. Steve met me at the plane. Car was ready; and I was on the road in 20 minutes. It was a good experience.

Bought my 2011 from Rudy Luther in Minneapolis. Circumstances were such that I needed a car "right now" and wanted a "red" 4.6. Other dealers were in a "can't do" mode. Luther found a car in Milwaukee and sent a driver down to pick it up, all at no additional cost to me. This was another good experience.
